Looking for the internet!

Sitting outside after driving down the street trying to find an internet signal…so a quickie!

We’ve had a good couple of days of riding. Tuesday morning Gary talked to the carriers in Miles City before we headed out. We are back on “home” territory, having finally gotten to good old Hwy12! Even though there were lots of hills, the riding was good and the road surface smooth to ride on. It was a long haul to Baker, but the weather was good. I even rode for a while which was nice.

We stopped briefly in Plevna, and Gary talked to the school there. Thanks Jule for the email and helping us get the word out!!

We found a lovely RV park at the Lakefront B&B. There were just a few spots, but it was right on the lake. When we spoke to the owners, Deb and Dennis, Gary told them of our endeavor and they gave us the night for no charge—-Deb and Dennis, THANK YOU!!

Gary did a little fishing, but mostly we just relaxed.

Wednesday morning, we hit the road very early as it was supposed to be quite warm. The ride wasn’t so far and we passed from Montana into North Dakota. We spent almost two weeks in Montana and it was a wonderful experience!

We made it into Bowman, ND fairly early so we stopped and had some lunch. Then we stopped at the post office so Gary could set up his talk, and he also stopped into the library to give them some postcards.

We had a long afternoon and evening yesterday. It was very hot, and there were no rv parks with full hook-ups. We did end up at a quaint little park, and managed to be able to pull in one channel on the tv. The showers were good and the people very nice! Now we’re sitting outside the library as I’m typing. It’s Thursday morning, and Gary will be talking to the carriers at the post office in just a bit. But we wanted to get you all caught up on our exploits of the last couple days. Not sure what the next couple will bring as far as internet access—we’re very much going to be in the middle of nowhere, with not much in the way of towns. So no worries and I’ll write more soon, and I’ve got some great pictures to add too!!

Happy summer!!!
